Pat comes from a family of 12 (6 boys and 6 girls) and was born and raised in Ha’apai in Tonga. His mother is Samoan/Maori and his dad is Tongan. He came to New Zealand to attend high school at the age of 16. Over the past 40 years, Pat has worked for the Tongan Catholic Diocese in Auckland managing their accounts and administration. He has 3 children, 10 grandsons and has 4 adopted sons.
Fun Fact: Pat loves all sports and still holds the 100m and 200 metre sprint records from Penrose High School, which is now One Tree Hill.
